In August 2018, The WV Hive notified us that Almost Local Business Hub chose Starry Eyes as the preferred marketing vendor for their business, tasked with branding, website development, and print design. This project was our first under our new partnership with the WV Hive, and we were beyond proud and ready to dive into the discovery process.
Brands Doing Business
As a technology hub for businesses, including the local chamber of commerce, our goal was to develop branding that would represent precisely what Almost Local strived to be: a place where local businesses could blossom and grow into something bigger and better. One of the first notions that came to mind when considering the ALBH’s services: nodes and energy. The brandmark evolved to convey those elements.
A Space To Collaborate
Almost Local Business Hub provides office space, conference space, and other basic office needs, such as high-speed internet, to entrepreneurs in Marlinton, WV. Owner Angela Hoffman wanted to provide other business-minded people in the area with such a space, so getting things together in the correct way was essential. As part of the agreement with The WV Hive, we designed Angela all the things her business would need: a logo, business cards, rack cards, newspaper ads, flyers, and a digital ad. On top of this, we designed a Branding Style Guide for Almost Local Business Hub so she could keep her brand consistent.
Funding Assistance
The WV Hive is an initiative of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority whose mission is to connect entrepreneurs with the resources and expertise they need to grow successful companies right here in the Mountain State. Almost Local Business Hub owner Angela Hoffman selected Starry Eyes Media as her preferred marketing vendor in partnership with the WV Hive.
